CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION TO A 3-YEAR BACHELOR´S STUDY PROGRAMME

achieve a percentile of at least 70 from the external part of the school leaving exam in mathematics and
achieve at least 70 points for a diploma from a competition

achieve a percentile of at least 70 in the admission test from mathematics and informatics. There will be two dates of the tests: 9.2.2024 and 26.4.2023 at 12pm. You can apply for both dates.
achieve at least 60 points in the admission test (the admission test is not mandatory if you meet the conditions for enrolment in a different category).

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR A BACHELOR´S STUDY PROGRAMME

1.

For the candidate, the admission procedure starts with filing an application for the relevant Bachelor´s study programme. 

2.

Applicants´ results will be assessed by an admission board – the assessment date will be specified later.

3.

The results of the admission procedure will be made available in the Academic Information System (AIS) not later than one week after the admission board has made a decision.

4.

A decision on the admission or non-admission of a candidate, together with a reasoning, will be delivered to the candidate in written form to the address specified in the application form during the second half of June.

5.

The admission procedure ends for the candidate with issuance of the decision on the admission procedure’s result.

CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION TO A MASTER´S STUDY PROGRAMME

The basic condition for admission to a Master´s study programme is to have successfully finished the undergraduate study programme. Graduates from the fields of study according to older regulations also meet such condition. For the purposes of assessment of the professional competence of a candidate for a Master´s study programme, graduating from a study programme of joined first and second degree is also understood as graduating from a study programme of the first degree.
The professional competence of candidates for a Master´s study programme is assessed on the basis of the content and results of the previous study at the first university degree which are proved by relevant documents, and on the basis of the results of an admission test if the submitted documents on the previous study of the candidate do not prove such.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR A MASTER´S STUDY PROGRAMME

For the candidate, the admission procedure starts with filing an application for the relevant Master´s study programme.

2.

Candidates who meet the basic conditions of admission or who are expected to meet them and their application form contains all required information will be invited to take an admission test.

3.

The results of the admission test will be assessed.

4.

The selection of candidates is based on the ranking made on the basis of the results of the admission test, the results of the previous study, important results of expert activities in the area of informatics and information technology, and the number of candidates that the faculty plans to admit to Master´s study programmes.

5.

The results of the admission procedure will be made available in the Academic Information System AIS. A decision on the admission or non-admission of a candidate, together with a reasoning, will be delivered to the candidate in written form to the candidate´s permanent address specified in the application form. The admission procedure ends for the candidate with issuance of the decision on the admission procedure result.
